RIP John Mahoney

John Mahoney, veteran character actor and long time Steppenwolf member, best known for his role as as Martin Crane on Frasier, passed away yesterday.  He was 77.  The most surprising fact about Mahoney, who seemed the quintessential American?  He was born in Blackpool, England and didn’t immigrate to the USA until he was 19.  See more at the AVClub, here.
